long time no blog! yay now that exams have finally ended, its FREEDOM time~~~~ FREEDOM = watch online movies + dramas at my own time in the comfort of my cosy room! ^^ (though this freedom is as shortlived as a few days due to the dreadful fyp!) OK perhaps i shud just accept the fact and start liking fyp, if not i really can't imagine how i am gg to survive through this 8 AUs.. i really wanna enjoy doing this major project with my grpmates weeling and xinyi. they are v nice and funny pple! =)
lately i have been watching alot of dramas: The Four (hk drama) ; 桃花小妹 and you're beautiful (미난이시네요). watched finish The Four yesterday and am kinda disappointed with its ending.. i really liked the front part of this drama showing how they solve those mystery murder cases..their cleverness were marvelous and v creative! but its ending (which focused more on each's love story) was very disappointing and open-ended, though it does reflect reality. Isn't love in reality just as confusing? yeah.
You're beautiful, on the other hand, is a more relaxing romance comedy. its very popular now, ever since Boys Over Flowers (BOF). even though i have only watched 3 epi of You're beauitful so far, i already think its rather similar to BOF. In fact, its a combi of BOF and Hana Kimi! and the main actors in it are all so young! the oldest one is only my age! Makes me feel damn old =(
oh ya before i end off, here is a very very sad news. our tiny white hammie died on Saturday. it was trapped between the wheel and the cage. cos the space in between was too cramped and no one was at home during that time. haiz the poor hammie must have struggled there for quite some time.. the saddest thing was it was only a-few-weeks-old baby! :'(
i wanna go shopping!!! i seriously need a bag, shoes and new clothes. Call me materialistic or whatsoever, i am really too sianz of wearing the same stuff everytime! but to fulfil my shopping craves, i MUST save hard and consistently! in addition, i plan to look for a part time job once my exams r over. i doubt i will be gg overseas this Dec holidays =( But nvm, i shall focus on earning $ then! as well as catching up on my korean language! it's been almost a year since i last touched my korean textbook. Which is a really sad thing cos now my korean has become so rusty :( i really hope i can take Hmk3 next semester together with shuling! and Topik test as well!
Hope Mum enjoyed our birthday celebration for her last Friday! We bought 'strawberry light cheese cake' from Bengawan solo and the cake surprisingly tasted quite good! and it was cheap! a normal bday cake costs ard $25 but this one is selling for only $16.80! it looks pretty too and the size was just nice for our family! i haven made Mum's bday card yet though. (Sorry, Mum!) Now that my 2nd paper has ended, i will try to do it as soon as poss! ; )

Yeah today i finally have a good break from school! went to check out illuma @ Bugis with my cousin. and we felt it was rather "desolate"! there were very few shoppers there. Am rather pessimistic about the mall's "survival".. Anyway we wanted to go there as we wanted to watch "2012" but to our disappointment, it is only out tomorrow; so left we no choice, we watched "Halloween II". haha and there were only 6 pple watching this movie (the 6 includes us)! too pathetic rite!!! Well as for the show, mmmmmm....its VERY gross; has damn loud sound effects; is 1hr40min; some scenes were kinda expected; we did have quite a few shocks though! haha so overall, i rate it 3 out of 5 popcorns!
Weeling says that "Coraline" is a darn nice halloween cartoon! Argh.. i shud have heeded my cousin's suggestion and watched that! i wonder when will our next movie outing be..? Looking forward to it!!! ^^
been bz with sch quizzes, tut, fyp, projects ...! but i kinda enjoy this kinda sch life.. at least it keeps me bz and motivated! rather than always slacking at home watching tv doing and contributing nth..
anyway alot of my frens are starting (in fact actively) applying for fresh grad job. while i am still kinda stagnant n lazy to apply. up till now, i have only been to networking sessions as well as certain recruitment talks. haven started applying for a job yet! im intending to apply prolly during next semester. i tink now its still kinda early. haha ok i admit im just lazy. bleah

Totally enjoyed myself on Wednesday and Thursday! Wed: with the Golden girls! --> xiao jun and shuling! we went TCC at The cannery to celeb our consecutive bdays. the food was not bad but the service was really bad! esp when we asked this waiter to help us take a pic, he said can but we had to pay $5 for it! and he looked so damn serious; then suddenly he said he was just joking! but his face was still kinda serious and the ambience wasn't funny at all! wth..wad a joke?! if he din wanna help us take photo, he could have just said so instd of crapping up with such a stupid joke?!!!! Beside that incident, we had a burning cake for our dessert! we requested for a candle. and the Tcc pple actually put the candle in "a pile of whipped cream"! Of course the lit candle wasn't stable at all and it eventually toppled and fell onto the biscuit garnish on our cake, which began to burn! so without even singing the bday song, we had to quickly blow the candle to "extinguish" the small fire. though it was quite a ridiculously funny thing to encounter and we couldnt help but kept laughing at that pt in time, but still....... i really couldnt understand why they would stick the candle in whipped cream. they shud have just sticked it in the cake rite!

haha what was even funnier was that me and xin purposely went to borrow fire starters from the organizer (when we dun even have a pit to start fire!) with the ultimate motive of having a small chat with him.. so as to understand more abt how they organize such events, the success rate and etc....and to our amazement, the organizer was very friendly and chatty! he revealed quite alot of useful info! Well, most importantly, we had a better concept of a matchmaking event. hopefully we can handle the discussion with our fyp prof well this coming fri!
after the Endnote workshop(which was useful but kinda boring), i had a mini-discussion with my fyp mates.. haha we decided to have some SPYing action on tis sun! basically we wanna spy on some speeddating BBQ session so as to get a better idea for our fyp --matchmaking Biz!
And then i went to meet shuling at JE mrt to go meet our korea trip pple for dinner at Dome. the 1-for-1 promotion was over :( but we still went there for dinner. the place was very "deserted"! there were only 2 bunch of customers, including us!

Feeling damn uncomfortable now. been having blocked nose for the whole day!
Its the 2nd day of my PA. luckily i find most of my colleagues quite friendly and nice! there is 1 colleague of the same age as me and she is alrd married with 2 kids! the topic that she talks abt all evolves ard childcare! i seriously think she is just too matured for her age..but so long as she feels happy with her life now, i would wish her all the bez! i can only say i really admire her for her great motherly love! can tell she really cares alot for her 2 kids..
my neighbours just came back from their europe trip. can tell that mum really envies them alot cos their whole trip was sponsored by their 2 daughters. their daughters are capable and filial. 1 of them is an SIA girl. Actually i have long wanted to become an air stewardess upon graduation. so as to travel ard the world for free! also i tink its kind of honorable to be seen as an air stewardess! i want to become one!!! but this DREAM certainly seems very very far and impossible!!! haiz... ):

haha in the end...the taiwan tour did not even follow the itinerary given to us at all! here is the REAL itinerary. Lol.
3/5: arrive at tao yuan int airport. tan shui yu ren ma tou. tao yuan night market. reside at golf resort. weather: windy!! 
4/5: tomato fruit farm. Jiu fen market. Yi lan arts arena. take railway to hualian. steamboat dinner. stay in some old hotel :(
the tomato is so big it can fit the size of my palm! :D
5/5: Taroko gorge! (heard some explosion sounds and before we knew, some rocks came rolling down! luckily no one got hurt in this "adventurous" walk! ) Hua lian jade shop. bus to taitung. stay at Luminous hot spring resort! :D
6/5: bus passed by very scenic crystal blue Pacific Ocean. Kenting. Fokuangshan. weather: very hot and sunny! took world-acclaimed bullet train to Tai Nan. (but the bullet train felt very much like our mrt; just a little faster! not as fast as i thought!) Nanyuan Resort Farm. played fireworks!!! (its not just those kiddy fireworks that we play in singapore! it was really those that are put into the air during national day!!!! very fun!) weather: cooling
what more can one ask for when u wake up to such a beautiful sight! ^^
7/5: saw small lavender field for the lst time in my life! also saw many dff types of roses! bused down to Chu Kou, the bottom of ALiShan. went to pray at Yue Lao Miao. finally arrved at ALiShan after some long and windy roads! weather: cold and misty; 12 deg! walked through eerie forest paths to see the famous Shen Mu; which has been ard for as long as 2000 years! travelled to Tai Zhong. Sun Moon Lake! absolutely beautiful! stayed at Ein Han Resort! nice but slightly eerie resort!
8/5: boat ride ard sun moon lake! cooling and sunny. landed on the smallest island in taiwan! left sun moon to Jiu Zhu Wen Hua Cun. tried several of their exciting rides!

i really wanna thank lynn for picking up her courage to sit those horrendously scary rides with me! thanks alot!!! you are the greatest cousin in this universe! :D
after the scare, haha we bused down a 3hr ride to taipei. taipei was rather chilly in the nite! we makan at a Safari-like restaurant b4 moving on to ShiLin night market! and guess what...! i tried the famous Chou Dou Fu there! i felt so brave! :D the tofu was quite crunchy as it was fried quite a few times?..and the smell wasnt as bad as i expected..i felt the stall stink worse than the tofu itself! haha..
9/5: Gu Gong-the National Palace of Taiwan. quite a nice place with loads of treasures to see! but there were far too many other tourists! it was so crowded that it seemed more like a market rather than what a peaceful museum shud be! so our mood was kinda spoilt. What was worse was that we almost had a fight over pushing here and there with some CHINA tourist! er hem...China! i tink u shud understand wad im trying to say rite.. then we went to Taipei 101. it was really tall! but i still tink the twin tower in KL looks nicer! haha anw we din shop much there cos the stuffs there are all branded and of course mahal! haha we took more photos than walk ard.. after that, we went Xi men ding! going there after 7 years, i felt certain things are still the same such as KFC, ROSE CD house, cinemas and the street style..there were oso significant differences like more shops and more girlish and fashionable stuffs! there were oso Face shop and Etude house! i prefer shilin though cos the food there has more variety and the clothes and accessories are oso much MUCH cheaper! 
we tried the super famous Ah Zong Mian Xian but felt the mee sua was so-so only... haha taste a little bit like lor mee!
